BatchBrew helps you streamline your customers' experience browsing your store. BatchBrew ensures sold out products appear last in your store collections, keeping customer attention on products that are in stock and available to purchase.

Getting started

BatchBrew helps you streamline your customers' experience browsing your store. BatchBrew ensures sold out products appear last in your store collections, keeping customer attention on products that are in stock and available to purchase.

Each time a product becomes sold out BatchBrew will move it to the end of the collection.

To start using BatchBrew choose a collection to resort.

1. From the BatchBrew app, choose a collection to be sorted and tap it. Note: BatchBrew can only collections with sorting set to Manual. Learn more.

2. From the collection Rules panel, tap the Sold out last option to enable it.

3. Tap Save Note: Products will only be sorted when inventory change event occurs to make them sold out. Any products that are sold out when you enable the rule will stay where they are.

Collections overview

The BatchBrew dashboard will list all the collections from your store.

1. Any collections you have enabled sorting for will show the Enabled badge.

2. Collections that can't be sorted will show a Sorted by Shopify badge. BatchBrew cannot sort these until they are changes to be sorted manually.

Using Sort Now to sort a collection

You can click Sort Now to move all currently sold-out products to the end of the collection.

Click Sort Now to move all sold out products last.

To use Sort Now:

1. From the Collections list, click the collection you want to sort. It must be a collection that is configured to be manually sorted.

2. Click the Sort Now button.

3. You can wait while the collection is sorted, or click Close to close the dialog. If you click Close the collection sorting operation will continue to run in the background. This is a good option for large collections which might take some time to sort.

Preventing a product from being sorted

There may be products you don't want to be sorted last when they are sold out, such as a product generating high demand, or featured in a recent ad campaign. You can prevent these from being sorted last when they sell out using a tag.

Each collection can have one or more product tags to exclude from sorting. When a product sells out, BatchBrew will check the products tags. If any of them are included in the list of tags to be excluded the product will not be resorted.

To add a tag to be excluded:

1. Tap the collection

2. Under Rules, enter the product tag and tap + to add it.

3. Hit Save

To remove a tag, click the X in the tag and hit Save.
